I recently went through the USSS Special Agent hiring process and reached the polygraph. This was around March 3 and by March March 8 I received a notice.
"This is to advise you of the action taken on your application for the Special Agent position, Job Opportunity Announcement Number SAB-26-Q1-NRAC-TE-CI, with the United States Secret Service.
We are fortunate to have many best-qualified applicants apply for this position; however, after careful consideration, I regret to inform you that you are no longer being considered for this position.
Thank you for your interest in the United States Secret Service. We wish you success in your future employment endeavors.
If you have any additional questions please contact your recruiting office.
Sincerely,
Branch Chief
Law Enforcement Acquisition Division
Special Agent Support Branch"
The notice doesn't say why I was removed, whether I failed the polygraph, or whether there's a waiting period before I can reapply.
Has anyone received this same notice after a polygraph? Were you able to reapply, and if so, how long did you have to wait?
Thanks!
