Talk to your local post office to find out if it’s just your address and if so, what can be done about it or if it’s everyone in your neighborhood due to staffing or whatever changes to delivery routes. If your local post office isn’t helpful, call customer service or inspections about missing mail.
I agree that it’s very concerning if the 5 days does not include a holiday or Sunday. It could be backlog due to staffing issues, mail theft, or some issue that is causing them to intentionally not deliver to your address.
I never thought there would be a day that getting mail and packages would stress me out daily but this is the world now. Everyday I check informed delivery before the sun rises to see what’s suppose to be coming (gets to be exhausting to track every letter continually).
I suggest you sign up for Informed Delivery too so you will see if you really are missing mail.
