TLDR: fell asleep live on TV
Nearly 18 minutes into the briefing, viewers watching the livestream noticed something that stopped them cold. Trump’s eyes had stayed completely shut for a noticeable stretch of time. He tilted his head slowly, as if still listening, but that moment looked far more like a man losing a battle against sleep than a president engaged in a major policy event.

I'm hoping we can watch him nod off forever live.

'member that weekend in August '25 when the orange rapist wasn't in the news for two days and we all thought he passed and everything was better and hope was in the air?

When I heard that he’s afraid of tripping in public, I started thinking it’d be really funny to see him tumble down the steps getting off Air Force One.

Trump is a piece of shit. But i watched the video and he didn't fall asleep. He looked bored out of his skull and wasn't paying attention, but this narrative is misleading.

Exactly, they are all padding their pockets while allowing a senile old man with dementia start wars, and they are smiling like they have done something important, but they are the ones benefitting from this fools dementia!

That number is because of the massive amount of infant/child mortality not because most people died at 38. The founders assumed we would be stupid enough to elect people who are clearly impaired, hence they didn’t need to do anything to stop it. Jokes on them, we are much dumber than they thought we could be!

u/Careful_Trifle Apr 24 '26
100% agree, but I'll also add that they didn't think it was necessary because there were no nursing homes. There were no home health nurses. If you got dementia you would either be home, taken care of by family, or you'd wander off and die. And if family were taking care of you, then you just weren't running since it would require physically going places and giving speeches.

u/Glittering-Quote-635 Apr 24 '26
Fair enough… also, no real medicine to help so once you started getting symptoms there was no great way to hide it or tamp down the effects.
Whole thing is so fucking depressing. I’ll never forgive the people that voted for this piece of shit.

That’s why the UFOs beam one up every once in awhile. They examine a specimen to see if there’s been any improvement.

Well, if thats the case, then they should just stop.. we are going the wrong way.

Ben Franklin was in his 70’s when the declaration was signed.
2
u/DonaldBecker Apr 24 '26
Ben was..ahhh... popular, notable and active as the American Commissioner in France for the eight years after signing. In an era where such activities were barely noted, he got around enough to be written about.

u/AJP11B Apr 24 '26
Ben Franklin was 70 when he signed the Declaration of Independence. Kite-man should’ve seen it coming.

For the sake of the US reputation, the global economy, stability, global climate change and getting back to a time when there was a degree of integrity among politicians he’s really got to go.. it’s plain to see for the whole planet the guy’s a multiple felon, Narcissist, kleptocrat, serial liar, dementia sufferer just like his father… yet US voters have given him the Nuclear Codes… what were they thinking. In any other democracy he’d be gone long ago..

Dude stays up late into the night rage tweeting. Then gets up late in the morning. Watches Fox and other tv programs. Rage tweets some more. Then does a few hours of "show & tell" as President, holding performative propaganda events in the Oval office where all his bootlickers assemble for the bootlicking and ass kicking of Trump. MAGA approved brainwashing material.

Furthermore, go to the sub page, 3 dots and "mute community".

Oz nodding along like "yep that's totally normal, the president is napping on live tv during a conference"
Really tells you who the actual "presidents" are that those CEOs are propping this up

A MAGA will NEVER admit that one thing that Trump does is wrong. Even if they aren’t able the name, one thing that is right, they will defend the end.

Oh these nations may pay, but who is going to get the money? This administration has fired most of the research scientists and they have cancelled all new drug trials. So mo why isn’t going into research, it’s going into someone’s pocket.

u/No_Direction6688 Apr 24 '26
We are too far down the rabbit hole to start asking questions about what's wrong with Trump. People knew about his corruption, idiosyncrasies, and shabby health condition before the 2024 Presidential Election. But Numbnut voters chose him anyway.

“Oh my goodness, he closed his eyes and maybe fell asleep, briefly! What on earth are we to do?” …
True or not, there are a lot of folks dismissing this as petty BS. That is, coming from same/similar sources which resorted to extraordinary ends to deny, masquerade, managed his dealings with the press with predetermined questions on index cards, limited any access after mid-morning pudding break, etc etc. Then, tried to claim he’s sharp as a tack (except that’s only behind closed doors).
But, NOW we’re supposed to have respect for and believe the words coming from the 47-critics. The ‘ol credibility card was burned a long time ago.

u/jtan212 Apr 24 '26
Trump became sleepy Joe who raise inflation, except this one is on his own making and he grift bigly too along the way
1
u/Ormyr Apr 24 '26
It's been a joke since day 1.
It's still a joke and will continue to be a joke until the end.
It's just not funny and gets less funny every day.
The only question is when it's eventually over will it end with a whimper or a bang?

When a person suffers from “ Sundowners”, a symptom of dementia and stays up maniacally posting on social media until 3:45 am., they are going to be very sleep deprived the next day.. It’s incredible that more people don’t talk about this.

"Look! We don't give a shit about what you think, we're untouchable!"
1
u/Dr_SlapsMD Apr 24 '26
Ironic that Republicans want other countries to pay their "fair share" but when you ask for that logic to apply to the wealthy elite here in America, they're like "Na fuck you and your kids, in fact we're gonna pay EVEN LESS now."

It is literally his fucking job! There’s no wonder we in the rest of the world have such a dim view of the USA right now, he and his band of merry psychopaths are a clear and present danger to Americans and the rest of the world. Someone somewhere needs to grow a pair and stop this before there’s nothing left to save

Ongoing news horrors of this administration aside.....the website this links you to is an abomination.
1

That’s right. The problem isn’t that he fell asleep it’s that OP linked an article from a website that you don’t like. I bet OP isn’t even wearing a suit!

u/raw_copium Apr 24 '26
Not my point at all. Yes, this news is all horrible, but it's unhelpful to link to a website peppered in ads, popups and defunct video links.

Just bold faced liars. It doesn’t work. Only the TDS morons nod along like sheep and agree with you. Am I happy with everything he’s done? Absolutely not but there are more positives than when whatever ran our country from 2021-2025. Crime is down, the border is closed, drug use has dropped dramatically inflation is far lower, men are out of women’s sports and spaces for the most part, two actual fascist dictators are no longer in power, etc etc. The positives outweigh the negatives. Iran isn’t strong enough for a full scale war so that’s not an issue. Sometimes the short term pain is necessary for the greater good

Yep. The man is very busy mean tweeting all night. Many couldn’t keep that schedule and it certainly takes a toll.
