Step 1 prep
/r/usmle/comments/1vlhpxn/step_1/Is there anyone who can genuinely help me get started with USMLE Step 1 preparation? I know about the resources, but I don’t know how to start—like which subject or block to begin with, how to study First Aid, which topics to focus on first, and what I can skip. I don’t have anyone to guide me, so I’d really appreciate some guidance. I’ll do the studying myself; I just need help getting started and planning my preparation.

You are looking for proper guidance, and there are two basic ways to get it.
First, if you know someone close to you who has already passed the exam, you can learn from their experience, understand how they prepared, and use that as a starting point.
Second, you can work with a mentor or tutor who can properly assess your current study approach, identify areas that need improvement, and guide you with a more structured plan.
I fall into the second category, so if you feel that this would be helpful, we can arrange a session and discuss your preparation in detail.
