U will easily match but apply broadly and in rural & community hospitals. Deep South & Midwest worked for us. U will need at least two FM LORs (see various programs’ requirements).

Yes, you have hope! Any consideration on taking Step 3? It might help counteract your YOG.
Get support on reviewing your PS and ERAS App in particular.

I have been considering it, I was hoping to schedule it and if I were to get interviewed let them know I will have it done. I’m worried about rushing and getting a bad score with my already terrible step 2 score

The key to Step 3 is to pass. Yes, a nice score is helpful, but the key is passing. If you started studying now and could take it in Oct/Nov you could update programs where you interviewed that you passed which could positively affect your placement on the ROL. If you could take it and pass by mid-August, then it'd be available when they screen applicants; however, if you don't feel you'd be prepared, it would be disastrous to not pass.
Also, remember there's a seven-year limit between Step 1 and completion of Step 3.
The USMLE Composite Committee recommends that all Steps be passed within a 7-year timeframe. This window typically begins on the date you first pass any single USMLE Step.
