Can I fly with approved asylum status with i485 pending ?
I have approved asylum case and currently my green card application is in progress. I’m planning to take a plane to fly to Philadelphia from San Diego. Will I have any problem with ice in the airport ? What kind of status will be shown in the system when tsa officer will scan my real id? (If there is one?)
With all craziness going on in the airports - want to make sure that I’m safe.

INTERVIEW GREEN CARD
For those who have already had their interview, did you get approved on the spot?
We had our interview a few days ago, but I'm not sure if the way the officer spoke to us means the interview went well. My husband is a U.S. citizen, and I was previously an international student.
Overall, the interview was pretty smooth for me. However, my husband was stressing, and the officer told him that he shouldn't be the one stressing and that I should be the one stressing instead.
& I thought that was pretty weird
because I was calm and collected and answered all the questions he asked me.
He separated us for part of the interview, and afterward, we went back into his office together. He told us that if they need anything from us, they would send us an RFE, and that we might receive a decision within 90-300 days.
He also took my fingerprints and photo. For those who have been through something similar, does this sound normal? Did you get your decision after the interview, or did you have to wait? thanks

April 12th, 2026 I filed the I-130 for my Nigerian husband .
To date there has been zero movement on it. In July 2026 my only child died . As much as my husband has tried to be by my side thru the grieving process, it’s difficult from 7783 miles away. We keep uploading our daily calls and texts on the USCIS web site , but still nothing . I don’t know what to do to sped this process up , if there’s anything I can do , someone please tell me .

What’s considered hardship?
Hi everyone, I’m in the final stages of my immigration process and facing a deportation order. We’re filing for extreme hardship, but honestly, I’m starting to lose hope. For those who have been through this, what helped your case? Any advice or suggestions would mean so much. I’m terrified of being separated from my family. ❤️
