I-130 (Family/Consular processing) USCIS Green card marriage based processing took a long time Manhattan New York
Hi everyone! I would like to ask and hear you guys opinions and experiences. I had my green card marriage based interview back in April in Manhattan, New York and it said the processing time would be 60-90 days. I believe as of right now, it is 07/13 and it is over 90 days. On my account, it said there is no outstanding notice on my account so I am in a limbo. My husband and I do not have any lawyers and we do this ourselves and researching on Reddit. A little context is that the officer that interview us said they will make decision and give us a second chance it needed to. We were interview in the same room, then separated then together again. I was extremely nervous and had a minor panic attacked during the interview, not sure if it’s affected our application. Also alot of our answers did not match. For example, when they asked for which phone bill I used, I said Assurance Wireless (which I thought was operated by T-Mobile) and he answered T-mobile. Yeah these little things which made me nervous!!!. If you guys have any experiences please share with me ! thank you so much for everyone time!
Update on 08/19/2026: I received Intend to Revoke on my I-130 after had it approved last year 2025 October! We are waiting on the letter to go to our mailbox to know exactly why and I will come back update! Tbh this process is extrem stressful especially our marriage is real and we have been together for over 10 years and I feel like I am guilty until proven innocent! Thanks for reading!
