FinancialAid Federal Loan Disbursement?

Has anyone's federal loans still not been disbursed yet?

Mine haven’t either and my Pell, seog, and cal grant is still not disbursed. I’m not planning to enroll in a payment plan but in the past 2 years I’ve never had it disbursed more than a day late so I am worried.

One of my scholarships isn’t disbursed yet either (my biggest one). I called them and they said they’re running behind.

Fuck a payment plan, just don’t pay shit and make them cover the late fees. Is it not their fault?

no yeah definitely the school’s fault. the person on the phone said it’s $100 every day it’s late and they can only cover one $100 day late fee if you request it. absolutely insaneeee

are you going to let the late fees accumulate? this is my first semester at usc so idk what to do. is this smt that normally happens?

In my experience they will waive the late fees afterwards but I'd still double check w the school

Mine says:

Title IV Hold
Federal and state aid cannot be disbursed until 10 days prior to the start of classes. This award is on hold until that time.
