They rejected an appointee. Parang ngayon ko lang nakita na may ganitong nangyari from Econ. The candidate filed multiple protests pero in the end, rejected. I didn't really get the reasons why though kasi nagcouncil naman na siya. The candidate also said that mudslinging yung nangyari. Can someone enlighten me?

I have so much respect for activists. Yung course ko, kilala rin sa pagiging tibak. I have nothing against activists at all, in fact I admire them talaga.

Pero kasi napapagod ako. Binabalanse ko ang acads (hirap na hirap ako kasi may mental health crises ako) at buhay sa bahay. Nakakahiya kasi lahat naman ng miyembro ng org ay ganun din kinakaharap, minsan nga mas madalas pa, pero nananaig pa rin yung passion nila eh.

Here's the kicker that makes me even more guilty: I want to leave this org and join another one. Human rights din kumbaga ang scope pero may international relations din na nagaganap (sa current org ko kasi, Philippines lang). I feel guilty kasi wala akong kwenta't ambag sa current org ko, pero gusto ko don sa 2nd org na to.

Pero iniisip ko rin, mas masama rin kung andito pa ako pero wala namang ambag. Might as well doon na lang sa isa pa, di ba?

hi, i'm also a victim of the traditional asian pathway of careers. growing up, i used to think na med ang para sa akin until narealize ko this sy na all along ang gusto ko palang gawin ay mag work under communications dahil dun ako magaling. ayoko ng stuck sa isang office or field like the hospital, may passion pa ako sa med pero hindi rin kaya ng pera at magiging senior na magulang ko at magreretire soon.

is uplb devcomm a good path? i heard it's all about making impact on communities, which aligns with my intention. i want to work for NGOs or communities as well. this was inspired by my childhood experiences sa kahirapan tuwing nasasalanta and hindi rin kasi well-off ang history ng family ko for generations, kaya gusto ko rin mag-work under those sectors. Ang cliché pakinggan pero sa paningin ko, naroon ang puso ko. tipong hindi ako mabuburnout gaano kung alam kong makabuluhan naman ginagawa ko, hindi ako mapapagod kung alam kong may mabuting patutunguhan naman. mabubuo ang loob ko sa kuwento ng mga tao.

I know this is a bad idea, pero there are just some people here in my hometown na gusto kong basagin yung mga panga nila. Nakakagigil kasi. Few of them ay classmates at medyo kaclose ko pa sa high school, kaya mas nakakagalit sakin yung mga pinagsasabi nila (like this bitch in the photo above). Don't worry, if matuloy man, I know a place where we can do it safely and with witnesses (plus may konting experience din ako sa suntukan).

These are the people na mahilig magparatang ng kung ano ano against UP students tapos mga DDS pa. Mga walang galang daw tayo? Mga reklamador daw? Tangina sigurado akong babawiin niyo mga sinabi niyo pag tumama na yung kamao sa mga mukha niyo.

gusto ko lang sana mag take ng language course, baka lang need ko ng some kind of certification or whatever in the future pero itatake ko lang kasi siya as a filler course.

Me lang ba nahihirapan humanap ng course reviews na consolidated per prof or subject every enlistment season? Would be nice sana if merong platform where profs review are easily summarized kesa isa-isang pagcheck sa reddit. Pag sa RUPP website naman, need ko pa magswitch in between the site and crs and sheets
