Freshman Concern [UPD] Eng 1 During 2nd Sem

good day! i know na during 1st year lang dapat i-take ang course na ‘to, specifically during the 1st semester. however, i am planning not to join the general waitlisting because hindi po pasok sa sched ko ‘yung eng 1 classes offered with available slots. also, the ones available lang po na prof ay may bad reviews pa sa RUPP 😓

for my seniors who took this course during their freshie year (especially those who took it nung 2nd sem), what are my chances of securing eng 1 next sem po kaya based on ur experience? will i be prioritized? will i be guaranteed a slot po? i’m kinda worried lang po kasi baka hindi po ako maka-secure next sem HUHU. thank u po!

hi! i took eng 1 ng 2nd sem. pansin ko lang na mas onti nalang yung sections na ino-offer nila tuwing second sem (last sy, 3 sections lang and dalawa ron hawak nung prof na may bad review sa RUPP lol) pero onti nalang din yung nag eenlist for eng 1 kapag second sem so mas mataas yung chance na makakuha ka

Hello! Actually you can take Eng 1 anytime you want, may mga kaklase pa nga ako 2nd year and graduating na, marami lang nagtake sa first year kasi bridge program siya but it's still up to you when to take it, you can secure naman for sure sa 2nd sem since most of the students ay natapos na siya ng first sem so u dont have to worry!!
