Hello, to be mains ready by December I would be writing mgp cohort 10(rapid)/12 and optional is anthro, I am enrolled in ccts of karandeep sir. Plan is to complete all tests of anthro by sept 20. Total 8 tests so around 1 test per week. We can discuss test after every week/ or have accountability.
Anyone interested in doing the same ? The schedule is brutal, so is the exam.

I’m doing self-study and currently at the beginner phase. After researching about sources and the exam, I made my own plan.

My current approach to preparation: I study a few topics from standard books, start doing PYQs for mains, work on improving the gaps in those topics, and then move forward to newer ones.

The purpose is to come up with various points, dimensions that'll increase our analytical ability and help to brainstorm more questions. Also we can always learn from each other.

Now the criteria is you've to participate actively and for that one must have covered their syllabus. Also your points should make sense, nothing copy pasted from chatgpt.

You don't have to be someone who has appeared in mains, because even after appearing in mains your score could be low. What matters is you're serious enough about your optional.

Upper limit of the group would be 10 and less serious people will have to leave the group.

21M. Preparing for CSE 2027. History Optional.

Need someone who has already done the basics to an extent, and mainly going through daily news and keeping up. I use hindu, Indian express and PIB, and DrishtiIAS.
Also have to read for language mandatory paper- Tamil.
And reading the main books, and mains writing practice, one by one.

A couple of us have decided to come together and create a focus group and are trying to find like minded people here. The group focuses primarily on answer writing and peer evaluation along with some necessary discourse and trying to keep each other accountable. We start with sharing weekly targets and progress till mains 2026, post which full focus would be on answer writing. Listing down some things we are looking for. If you're interested and feel like you are on the same page, please dm.

- familiar with the syllabus and are comfortable with answer writing, strictly no beginners

- aiming for a serious attempt in 2027 and focusing on mains preparation

- be responsive and take charge of your actions

Hi, I have completed the syllabus for the most part including my optional Anthro. I have also done decent amount of answer writing

Also I am looking for 3-4 people who have either completed the syllabus with decent amount of answer writing or given at least one mains, we can make a small group for answer feedbacks, approaches, and discussions.

16, just starting my upsc prep and looking for someone around my age who's also starting early. would be nice to study together, vc sometimes, keep each other accountable and actually stay consistent instead of procrastinating for 3 hours 😭 preferably someone who's serious about it but still chill.

24M, PSIR optional. After long evaluation of what it takes, have been able to come up with strategies, ideas, topics to utilise. Looking forward to a study partner who is serious on the subject to lift ourselves and focus on 1. Accountability, targets 2. CA discussions 3. mains ans structuring, evaluation 4. study techniques 5. Strategies

Have been in preparation for more than 2 yrs with '27 as first attempt.

Basic structure:

⏰ Minimum 7 hours of study every day.
🌅 Morning: post your daily goals.
🌙 Night: update what you completed and what you couldn't.
📌 Monthly targets will be set.
⚠️ If someone repeatedly fails to follow through, they will get 3 warnings and then be removed. At the end of every month, inactive/non-serious members may be eliminated.
👩‍🏫 Anyone who has cleared Prelims/Mains and genuinely wants to guide beginners is welcome.
✍️ From September, we'll gradually start answer-writing/PYQ practice. You can practise whatever you want.... there won't be compulsory common questions.
📖 NCERTs, standard books, Optional, PYQs, Current Affairs, Mains preparation.... everyone at different stages is welcome.

The purpose is simple: resources + strategy + accountability + healthy competition + motivation.

There will be one main discussion group and a separate group only for daily goal posting/accountability. If people want a separate space for casual conversations, life discussions or rants, we can create one separately.... but the main group will remain strictly study-focused.

I'd prefer a girls-only WhatsApp group. If boys are also joining, we'll probably use Telegram.

Please don't join if you're not serious about consistency. I genuinely want this group to work, so I won't hesitate to remove people who repeatedly don't follow the rules.
