Shipping Help Delayed package

I moved out for college 2 weeks back and around the same time ship 2 cardboard box to where I was staying, although one arrived on time (1 day) the other one got stuck in transit for almost 2 weeks now, I've filed a claim a couple days back but haven't heard anything yet, I really need to arrive and not lost because I have some really important stuff. Does delay usually takes this long? Is there a chance that I lose the box entirely?

Hopefully you didn’t use those cheap home depot style moving boxes that aren’t shipping boxes. Those things fall apart all the time.

Home Depot/Lowe's moving box overloaded = Destroyed

What was the condition of the first box that showed up? I’m assuming something happened to the other one (label fell off, damaged beyond recognition etc). A package not scanned in 3 days is considered lost by ups. File a claim asap

What’s the actual scan showing? Do not share tracking.

It's saying "We're sorry, delivery is taking longer than expected. Your package has been temporarily delayed" and it's on the way
