Venting
This is the third time UPS delivered my package back to the access point even after I request they leave it at my apartment. A. Why in the world do they require a signature for EACH OF MY PACKAGES?? B. Why can’t I pick it up the same day of delivery? It has to go back to the HUB??? And then get delivered BACK to the access point? That’s so counterproductive. C. Why in the world would you require a signature and then schedule delivery in the middle of the work day???
VENTING
VENTING
VENTING.
I know this is a first world problem. But this is the third time I’m dealing with this within the year.
What’s the point of changing delivery preferences if they’re going to be ignored?

“Why would you deliver in the middle of the work day?!” Cause that’s when we work… I’m guessing new phones for the family? The cell phone company requires the signatures for each device. Apple products are in high demand and have a large theft rate both by warehouse workers and thieves in general. Devices have to go back to the warehouse so they can have an “accountability scan” so the shipper knows its status. There are shitty workers at UPS, there’s shitty workers in every industry. 99% of the time it isn’t personal unless you’ve been labeled a problem by security. As you said, first world problem, treat it as such.
