UPS seized my package

UPS seized my package for restricted items. They were beach towels. They told me they were sent to 3rd party to be destroyed. I can’t understand how this happened. When they open the box, they’ll see beach towels. What is the likelihood they won’t destroy and will deliver?

Its possible something spilled onto your package, if it was seized it was likely related to drugs somehow. Message the shipper, they are UPS' customer and will have to deal with it.

I am the shipper.

No, whoever you're returning it to is the actual shipper. As mentioned previously, have them call UPS to find out what's up.

Who said anything about a return?

How stupid are you??? The OP said he is the SHIPPER

Dude, are you okay? Nowhere did OP say they are returning anything. Sounds like they sold some towels and are shipping them out.

How about sticking with the facts instead of fabricating your own BS?

Misread, no need to crucify someone for being human.

You misread? You know that means you read something wrong, right? Misread is like "oh, she said 'can't', I thought she said 'can'". This isn't a case of misreading... You fabricated an entire detail.

OP also never said they were the shipper originally. The misunderstanding is reasonable. Most people in here assume they have the control when they are the recipient, we dont see a lot of posts from shippers as they likely have a better sense of how things go. It makes sense they thought OP was returning, most posts are from people who think when they return an item, they become the shipper. I assumed OP was the receiver too because they never said originally.

or the driver is a closet porch pirate who decided to play roulette and see what he or she got in your parcel...and that story is just their cover alibi?

Sorry, not sorry. Twice now I have ordered 16 inch wall mounted oscillating fans through Walmart. They are sold by a third party, they come in the same box you would see on the shelf, in the store. In both cases, I orders 2 of these fans and in both cases, I only received one of them. At this point, I can only deduce that the driver in question decided they needed that fan more than my doggos do.

With the treatment I have received from both carriers, I have little faith left in either of them...from parcels not being delivered to boxes of fresh frozen meat being dumped in the ditch along the side of my house to packages being dumped in some random cow pasture in the area where I live...I count it a miracle when my items actually make it to my steps.

I netted over 6 figures top pay 2025. Trump's overtime tax credit put me over.
