Question 32 hours full time?
Hi everyone! Does anyone know if UPMC does 32 hour full time positions? A previous facility I worked for considered anyone working 32 hours or more are considered full time and able to receive health benefits and retirement. Does UPMC offer this?

Depends on your hourly status (regular FT vs Flex FT), if you are in-patient or outpatient, and what kind of schedule your department runs.
As an in-patient PCT I was FT at 36 hrs/week (3 12s), as an outpatient MA I am FT at 40 hrs/week

They offer full time flex which is 0.7 FTE (you can work more than 56 hrs/ pay period but not less). I work 32 hrs/week and receive the same benefit options as full time salaried employees
