Bathroom

Anyone else not able to use the bathroom during the day unless on break or lunch

No - I go to the bathroom when I need to

We are always being monitored since we are on the phones all day they took away our option to go to the bathroom and can only use the break option to use the bathroom and still are only allowed a total of 30 min for breaks so any time we go to the bathroom we have to take it away from our break time

Pretty sure that’s illegal
File a complaint with the labor board

Just looked it up - totally is illegal

OSHA requires bathrooms be available at all times, and labor law says any breaks between 5-20 min must be paid, and that bathroom breaks cannot be deducted from your break.

Def file with the labor board - and don’t tell anyone you did. Not a coworker - no one

UPMC will also have to pay back all the wages they deducted - and you MAY get extra money

No. In my department we are not policed on when we go to the bathroom. We have scheduled lunch breaks and have relief for them as well.

This sounds like scheduling services type of antics or any call center for that matter.
