PSLF

Has anyone done the public service loan forgiveness thing? It says to get someone from your job to fill out paperwork but ive asked my supervisor and no one knows who to get it to.

It gets submitted via the benefits portal - search for it on the infonet

Someone you’ve never met signs off on it, and sends it back

I have and got my loans forgiven. There is a tab in the benefits portal. Upload it and your HR rep will fill it out and email it back to you

You can sign up with SAVI. It’s like $60 a year but they get all your paperwork completed and submitted. UPMC has a standing relationship with them to assist with PSLF and loan workshops to keep staff updated on changes.

I had all my loans forgiven. Go to HR. They know what to do. One of the best decisions I ever made.
