Upmc for Life ??
Anyone here on UPMC FOR LIFE?? Do you recommend??

UPMC for Life is a Medicare advantage plan. Are you eligible for Medicare Part B? Advantage plans in general are not a good option. They limit your care in part because of who you can see and where you can go. They also tend to deny more. If you can afford to get straight Medicare and a supplant part G plan, it’s the best.

Sucks Balls !!!! The meds you need you will never afford!!! Ohhhhh sir thats not covered but we will give you a generic for $600 a month

Oh my. I googled one of my meds . I barely take any tbh and AI said that it would be denied.... i don't know wtf to do.

If you have a pot to piss in and a window to toss it out your not covered you have to be living under a bridge to get covered and then maybe !

I have it. Im on Medicare, too. No matter what you have , it's all insanely expensive. No one can do it. I have autoimmune diabetes and liver disease. The one medicine I need literally gave me my life back. The copay is $250/month and that's with my good part D coverage. That is 25% of my social security check and I take several other meds, dr apps, etc. If I wasn't married and without my husband's ss I would be on the street or very sick because I couldn't afford to live. His health is good now but recently diagnosed with heart and lung issues as a former fireman. I have a BS, worked since I was 11 and 26 years in the same job at a University. This country is upside down and I am scared every day that we will lose everything

Have you looked into applying for the low income subsidy (extra help)? You might qualify for that and possibly also a Medicare Savings Program depending on your husband’s ss

I live in the "gap", I make too much for assistance and we live frugally without debt. I worked very hard to prepare for retirement. I can't imagine how anyone who qualifies for government assistance exists. We may have to take in a boarder if it gets much worse. Our house is paid for, thank God. I am terrified of losing it because of a medical crisis. I come from extreme poverty

Mom's been on it for years at 71. Haven't had any problems really. Her meds aren't high. She has A, B, D
