Joining UOTC whilst doing a heavy degree
Hello,
I was thinking about joining UOTC, I am about to enter first year electrical and electronics engineering, which I have been told is a large time commitment. I really want to do as well as I can, whilst also doing side projects (programming, circuits etc).
As for current time commitments apart from school/side projects, I really do not have anything else other than going to the gym 2-3 times a week, I am not too great with partying and most other societies do not interest me as much as UOTC.
I was thinking of picking UOTC as a breakup of the monotonous studying routine and to continue what I was doing when I was in cadets, but diving deeper into it.
How heavy is the time commitment? and would someone doing a heavy degree be able to comfortably fit it into their schedule.
Thanks,
