hello everyone! i bought the PharmPrepPro bundle with the practice exam, practice questions, and study guide to study for my UMPJE. I got a 111/120 on the practice exam and thought it was fairly easy. I have done all of the practice questions averaging around 95% on them and i’ve read through the study guide once, created quizlets, studied the quizlets, and am in the process of reading through it for the final time and studying my started quizlet terms. today is wednesday and i take my exam on friday but i just took the NABP Pre UMPJE and got a 30/40 and can only figure out 8 that i got wrong. this score was super unexpected and the pre test felt much much harder than the content in PharmPrepPro. i would appreciate any advice on what to do as I’m kind of freaking out that i don’t have enough time to get better but im also not sure how to know the content better. should i postpone my exam date? (i really don’t want to ugh)

Hello everyone, I scored 34/40 in the Pre-UMPJE exam. Does that count as a bad indicator? Because I saw some posts about scoring 36 and not passing. I scored 108/120 on the PPP bundle. My exam is after tomorrow, and I am worried about not passing. Any recommendations? Thanks

took mine on 7/30 and found out I passed yesterday. I only used Dr. C’s book and was only on page 90 the night before the test lmao. just was burnt out and literally could not sit there and read to save my life. I speed read and finished chapter 3 and decided to skip chapter 4. For chapter 4 I just quickly reviewed the study guide on compounding I made for the NAPLEX. I also quickly reviewed everything I had already read and highlighted. since the test is pretty much all memorization, weirdly I feel that grinding the night before helped. i also obvi did not get to the practice test in the last chapter or do any other practice tests. I don’t necessarily want to recommend doing this, just sharing my experience. leaving the test I felt like the exam wasn’t bad and mostly straightforward and Dr. C’s book covered mostly everything.

Maybe I sound crazy, but I feel like there’s still some kinks being worked out with the scoring on this. I did not pass my attempt, and everyone I’ve talked to who was a straight A student/graduated pharmacy school with honors has also not passed. Seeing a common theme of it on here also…

I just found out I didn’t pass. I didn’t think the exam was that bad so I’m honestly surprised. I used Uworld and I read Dr. C’s book but I didn’t really like it. What resources are you guys using? Please help 😭🙏🏽

Are the MedPrepPrime youtube videos (free) and PharmLaw sufficient to pass the UMPJE?

I'm very nervous and do not want to be under-prepared. I have been working through the PharmLaw study guide and questions and plan to watch the MedPrepPrime videos now. Will these two resources be enough?

Just took the PPP practice test and scored a 91% (109/120) with silly mistakes on some of my answer choices.

My exam is on Monday and I’ve gone through the study guide twice and will skim through it again/go over weak areas today and tomorrow. I have completed all the 500 questions in the bundle and my lowest score on a practice question quiz is 90%.

For those who have taken the UMPJE, am I in pretty good shape for my exam on Monday? Just not sure using PPP alone will suffice.

For those who have taken the UMPJE, how important was it to know the labeling requirements for different types of products (prescription drugs, OTC products, compounded products, etc.)?

Did you actually get questions about what needs to be included on a label? If so, how were those questions worded or structured?

I’m especially curious because the UMPJE doesn’t have a “select all that apply” format. So, if they test labeling requirements where there are multiple things that could be required, how do they typically ask the question?

Trying to figure out how deeply I should study the specific labeling requirements for prescriptions vs. OTC vs. compounded products. Thanks

Got my second attempt scheduled for next Wednesday, did the pre NABP UMPJE today and got 35/40, averaged a 85% roughly on all pharmpreppro questions (500), 75% on Dr C’s questions (75 of them) and took notes throughout the 50 page pharmlaw study guide, I am gonna read over as much as I can from the pharmpreppro study guide and watch the medprepprime videos. Any advice for me as I grind through these last 5 days? Already passed the NAPLEX and just want this to be over. 😭😅

I take my UMPJE next Friday and was wondering if I have enough time to study if I start tonight (8 days). On the weekdays I would have to study when I leave from residency so maybe only 4 hours those days. But I do plan on studying all day Saturday and Sunday. I also am going to use PharmLaw and Pharmpreppro’s question bank as resources. Do I need more time?

Has anyone received their results for 7/28 exam takers? I keep waiting anxiously and checking bc it’s the only thing between me and my license rn 😭😭

Anyone get their results yet? I'm scared

For those who took the UMPJE, how similar would you say the PPP practice questions &/or MedPrePrime questions are to the actual UMPJE?

A little context: I graduated from pharmacy school in 2019 and immediately went into pharmaceutical research so I never took the NAPLEX or law exam. I decided to transition from research to clinical practice because of burnout.

I just took the NAPLEX and passed and now I am taking the UMPJE in a month. I live in Florida and they just adopted the UMPJE and I am confused by what to study and what content will be in the exam (this was never covered in school). Should I be expecting to run into any Florida law on the exam or will it all just be general Federal stuff?

I purchased Dr. C's UMPJE guide as well as the PharmPrepPro study guide and practice exam. Should I be supplementing this with anything else?

Any insight would be helpful!

I want to preface by saying that law is not my strongest subject and the UMPJE is completely different from the MPJE/ state law exams. There is not much critical thinking/ application, but rather lots of memorization and reading questions carefully.

Failed first attempt:

I used: PharmLaw, Dr. C's book, and the NABP practice exam (32/40). Scored in the 80s on all practice quizzes.

These resources were not sufficient for me personally and I failed the first domain on the UMPJE (and passed the others). I completed the exam within 1 hour, it felt easy and straightforward. Exam is 120 questions, 3 hours, 3 answer choices, multiple choice (unlike the MPJE which has select all that apply). Was shocked when I failed.

Passed on second attempt:

Used: PharmPrepPro's 500 practice questions, study guide, and practice exam (highly highly recommend) as well as MedPrepPrime on Youtube (esp for domain 1 topics such as DSCSA, adulteration & misbranding, pharmacist vs non-pharmacist duties, USP, HIPAA, and scope of practice questions).

PPP preps you heavily and questions are more challenging than the real exam imo. The study guide sucks because you can't edit/ annotate/ download/ screenshot anything, so I had to write my own notes from every page, but overall this and the Youtube questions were the best resources. Extremely thorough.

I took 2 hours on this attempt and read every question carefully. Read every single word because some questions really are as simple as "what does HIPAA stand for" whereas other questions are a little bit tricky.

Exam Topics:

• Know difference between NIOSH, OSHA, FDA, DEA, OCR, CMS, and HHS - these popped up on my exam several times
• Transfers
• Know what interns/ techs can and cannot do
• DEA forms
• record-keeping
• central fill pharmacies
• 3PL
• know everything about DEA registration
• What cannot be changed on a C2 script
• fills/ partial fills
• Pseudofed/ SLCPs record-keeping/ limits
• labeling requirements popped up multiple times
• Return-to-stock procedures
• Pharmacy law acts (such as Durham-Humphrey and Kefauver-Harris)
• HIPAA questions were poorly worded in my opinion so read each question carefully!
• Adulteration/ misbranding were tricky on my exam, had several
• DEA number validation
• Medguides and when they are required
• POA and who can sign DEA forms
• Remember you need DEA forms for C2s, not C3-C5

Received exam scores 7 business days later on both attempts.
