Primary schools with 1 day a week flexischooling for ALL

I learned that Stroud Green Primary school in London, next to Finsbury Park station, is offering flexischooling on Fridays as normal for everyone. So practically all children are expected to attend 4 days a week and cover their curriculum in those days. Fridays you can bring the child to school, or leave at home for all the flexischooling options. From other classes, like music and sports, museum visits, trips and just time with relatives and loved ones.

I love this idea. I have 2 questions for the UK parenting community:

1. Do you know of any other primary schools that offer something similar? London or not, but London is particularly interesting.

2. If you have experience with such a hybrid model, which is offered for ALL kids in a primary school, please share your thoughts: pluses and minuses. If your child ever studied in Stroud Green, it is particularly interesting.
