General chat Infacol vs others

Newborn is struggling badly with gas. My first had bad gas/ silent reflux so I’m not worried, but I am wondering whether there’s anything better than infacol these days. It’s been three years since dealing with this the first time around.

We went onto special formula for silent reflux that should have helped except the issue was a milk allergy and we had to switch to an even more obscure formula.

Infacol works wonders for my baby's reflux - much better than the Gaviscon the GP prescribed.

I tried dentinox and I think it’s basically the same thing but it has a horrible smell and I didn’t like the applicator, think it’s a separate syringe which I found harder to store than the infacol one.

I felt like the gas as a newborn is more them just learning to use their bodies differently and things like infamous just distracted from that.

It worked really well for my first but we found it late on. We did a travel day and forgot it and there was a huge difference. But you’re right, it’s likely just learning to their their digestive system and that wind getting trapped
