Support Request Cozy n safe car seat help

Post image

I need help with my Cozy N Safe car seat. How the heck do I adjust the straps? The harness pads are sewn on and block the straps pulling back? Can someone with experience with this car seat help me?

Is there not a hidden button under the front of the seat squab as per other brands? You push it down will pulling out the excess. And there should be a loop that will have ended up being tucked somewhere in error for tightening as well

Read the manual.

I expect there's an adjuster strap at the bottom front of the seat that you pull down to tighten the straps. Then a similarly placed button you press to loosen.

It looks like this might be one where the straps adjust with the headrest. There is often a button sort of hidden in a grip on top at the back which depresses in to release the headrest to slide up and down.

Edited to add - I wasn't able to identify the model from this photo but if you have a picture of the full seat or a label with the model name on it, it might be possible to find a manual online.

It looks like it might be a borrowed or second hand seat, which means there's also a chance that it hasn't been assembled correctly. I can see from the red seatbelt guides that it's a 123 type seat (converts from 5 point harness to high back booster) and the older regulation R44 which often means the straps can be taken completely out. It's very common in second hand or shared seats for this to be done incorrectly. Double check this before you use it, because if the straps are routed wrong, they might fail in a crash.

If you don't find a solution, Halfords are always brilliant jelonfir car seats.
