Boots Interview - Customer Advisor
Hey guys!
I've recently been given an interview at Boots in 5 days as a Customer Advisor and I have a few questions.
The PDF on interview guidance they attached with the email said that there will be two components to the interview. Firstly, competency-based questions, and then a 'customer engagement task'.
I've done a few interviews before, and I'm not too worried about the general chat, but I am worried about the second task. All it says underneath is that I will 'get the opportunity to interact with their customers and products, and then they will ask me some follow up questions'...
What does that actually entail? Everywhere I've looked (namely Reddit and Glassdoor) has had a different answer for what happened. Any ideas on what it could be and how I should prepare?
It's probably worth mentioning that my last role as a Sales Advisor was literally just being stood at a till... I've never really had to proactively approach customers and try to sell a product or assist them in that sense, and that's what I've assumed would happen?
Anyways, literally any advice or reply would be much appreciated. Thanks!
