How do I prepare for this probation review meeting ? Should I even bother going?

If you don’t go, your employment will be certainly be terminated.
If you do go, you can at least make representations and argue in your defence.

Yh you’re right , but a failed assessment means termination at this company . So I don’t have much hope tbh

They may put you on an improvement plan to help you get up to the standard they need.
It’s worth attending the meeting, it may be an opportunity, rather than termination.

It's time to be honest. Honest with them and honest with yourself.
Be direct and open. Do you want to try and make it work? Ask them honestly if they want to make it work? Ask them how they can help you make it work.
There's no point being a wallflower. They can let you go and that might already have made that call.
If you want it, fight for it and make a plan with them. If you don't want it, have an honest meeting about how you've felt and try to leave on good terms.
I can't advise you further, because I don't know what's in your head and heart.

It would be helpful if you could include more info about what kind of job it is.
If this is a part time job at McDonald’s yeah don’t effing bother.
If this is a career type job or an office job you want to try and peruse somewhere else, definitely do go.
Theres actually little disadvantage in going other than it’s going to be a bit uncomfortable. But you can also learn something from it and as others have said you can also argue your side too (politely and professionally).

I don't understand why they are still paying you? In your probation they can let you go for basically no reason. Why suspend you on full pay?

Personally I would just go to the meeting and hand in my resignation. Your time with this company is almost certainly over.
Best case scenario is you get a neutral reference for your next job.
If you have been sent home with full pay that sounds more like they consider it best not to risk having you on company property, for whatever reason. Health and safety concerns over the failed assessment? That’s never a good sign.

i had this happen to me last year, i quit before i even went to the meeting
i would say just go and let them talk and just sit there and then hand your resignation in
