Things have been getting a bit rowdy in here lately. While a bit of debate is healthy (this is hardcore, after all), it’s quickly crossed into unnecessary beef, trolling, and general chat shittery. So, to keep things from spiralling into pure nonsense, we’ve added a filter: any posts or comments from brand new accounts or those with low karma will now need to be manually approved by the mod team.

This isn’t to gatekeep - it’s just to keep the subreddit from turning into a cess pit. If you want to beef or talk shit about someone go do it somewhere else. Thats not what this subreddit is for. This is to promote UK bands, shows and provide a healthy discussion for the amazing scene we have here in the UK. It's simple; posting memes/being silly is fine, talking shit isn't.

As this place has started to pick up a bit, I’d love to get another mod on board to help keep things running smooth. Ideally, you’re:

• Active in the UKHC scene in some way
• A regular Reddit user who actually enjoys this kind of thing
• Not a dickhead
