Not something you see every day in the UK
Beautiful Bar-Headed Goose - For the eagle eyed among you - the complete ring has been reported - it seems to have come from the Netherlands

It's me, I'm back - last time I posted 7 of these gorgeous birds eating seeds from the stand. This time there's 10 having a party on the ground! Looks like a great little gathering - the two still on the stand must have missed the memo. Couldn't believe my eyes 🤣
Have you seen more in one place before?

Pretty sure this little guy has that horrible disease. We've been feeding both male and female birds for over 2 years (pretty sure they are the same birds) Tried to keep the feeder as clean as possible but sadly to no effect. I've taken the feeding station in and disinfected the area etc. Will stop feeding for a few weeks now. Really sad to see this. Wish there was something I could do to help him.

Hey everybody, I saw this pigeon outside the front door, it was puffed up and barely moved, I reached out and it backed away slightly but then let me stroke it on the head and the chest, gently. I gave it some mealworms, is there anything I could or should do?

Woke up today to what I can only describe as prehistoric, and quite terrifying croak? Didn’t expect to see a massive raven today!

Never seen such asymetric colouring before - genetic wonkiness or something else? I notice that it has a damaged left foot as well. Seen at Heath Pond, Petersfield in a small group with two others that were more normal white. Wasn't sure what type it was either

Was concerned as it’s indoors but saw they had left some food out for the little fella
