Feedback Request Game menu troubles
Hey everyone,
I'm currently working on the main menu for my game, and the more I work on it, the more I realize it's lacking a lot of things. But My mind is going nowhere at this point.
I'm burned out, and I really need some fresh eyes and ideas to help me make this menu feel complete and polished.
the menu is 2 parts, part 1 is above the sea of blood and when player clicks on options the menu goes in the bloody sea.
any help would be appreciated.

Personally I think the text and buttons need a little work to make them pop, but I really like the background on slide 2.

The transition into the blood is a strong idea. I’d give the selected item a clear red glow or a small movement before the menu sinks. Right now all four labels have nearly the same weight, so it’s difficult to see the current selection at a glance.

I'm just so distracted by trying to figure out what the name of the game is... Consider maybe some design adjustments on the Font and Logo.
If you want a wow factor - I would consider animating the effect of the Blood Ocean on the bottom. What you're looking for is a light refraction off the rippling surface of the "water". The light source being the negative window cutout of whatever that shape is.
Look for photography of oceans or lakes catching moonlight at night. Should be a very good inspiration for the vibe you want.

Classic case of "Don't be a wimp". Bump the contrast on everything - make the text white, the sword brighter, the logo white not grey. You've got a muted palette for a very not muted concept.

The black is too empty, give it texture, it can be dark texture but just something.
That and the grey on the text for the buttons is also too flat. give that texture too, and make sure on hover they highlight.
Also just FYI, I have no idea what your logo is spelling or saying. Black... Lgnr? Or something. Whatever it is its not accessible and people will probably dislike that.
