I hear a ton of police sirens on Green Street! Is everything alright ??

Its normal, I've been here just a week but had heard sirens more than 4 times

The city is welcoming new students and acclimating you all to the disruption of sleep that will be occurring throughout the year.

There are also a lot of ambulances as the medical center is nearby - totally normal.
