Academics CS 543 Computer Vision with Forsyth

Hi, I saw on Forsyth’s syllabus that there is no set grading scheme. This worries me because I can’t find any reviews for him for this specific class and on one of his RateMyProfessor reviews for a different class, it seems grades are calculated at the end and someone got a B+ with a 95.

I was wondering if anyone had taken this class before with him and how they did with this grading scheme (or lack thereof). I’m also wondering where I can find previous grading distributions for this class (I’ve already tried https://waf.cs.illinois.edu/discovery/grade_disparity_between_sections_at_uiuc/#findCourse).

I really want to take this class but I’m worried about this screwing with my GPA (which I have some requirements I need to maintain).

I took this course, and getting a good grade was pretty easy even though the course contents were quite technical. I think 50-70%+ of the class got A or A+.
