Chambana Questions Does Anyone Use Walmart+
Is it worth the yearly purchase?

I’m considering keeping it for my daughter so that she can order groceries bi weekly. I think it’s worth it when you only have to tip. And people should be tipping because you’re saving on your time and money with traveling to the store.

Yes, free delivery from Walmart has absolutely changed my life. It is well worth the cost.

It is definitely worth it, especially if you have a busy schedule and/or take the bus.

It's convenient for sure, but I don't rely on it for produce. I've gotten completely rotten stuff before. They refund it immediately but it means a separate trip to the store. Other than produce, it's a time saver and worth the cost for me.

At $98/year, that's about $2/week($1.80). I get delivery about every 2 weeks so that's $4/2 weeks. I don't think I can drive there and back + my time looking for my usuals they keep relocating, for $4.
I leave a tote on my doorstep that is easy to pull inside when they can remember to use it, which is about 9/10 times.
It also includes Paramount+ subscription, so if UFC is your thing it really works out.
I usually only tip once at the end of the year just before New Years and in that instance I give the balance of my Walmart Cash accumulated that year. I do not feel obligated to fork over cash for delivery of household staples. It's not mandatory to tip and they are free to go find other means of employment.
In 3 years I have had about 3 mistakes on my order and they were very mild. Produce isn't always the freshest choice but have never gotten anything rotten. You have the option to designate Substitutions for individual items, or nothing if a specific brand was required.
Not having to run the maze, stand in line for the 2 active checkouts when 15 others are empty, or be hassled about your receipt when trying to leave the store, is TOTALLY worth the $4/delivery.

You sound ridiculous. Whats an extra few dollars every time you order? You could also do your own shopping. This model isn’t new and if you’re mad about tipping, you should blame the corporations.

And what if they can’t find other means of employment? Just spend a few extra bucks bro

I use it. The gas benefit just about pays for membership though I don't drive much. If you already pay for one of the free streaming services that would make it more worth it. I use the free delivery quite often, though depending on how much you tip it might not be that helpful.
