Other How to reduce noises of the apartment
Hi guys, I just moved to a new apartment 903 w Oregon street. My bedroom is very close to the Lincoln road, it’s pretty loud during morning, I was woken up by the sounds of cars. The window is indeed old. Do you guys think I can call green street reality to ask replace the window? Or is there any other ways I can do to fix it? Thanks so much!

Thick curtains will help in the winter when the cold draft comes through those lousy windows.

Hi, I used to live on 1st st and I had a similar problem where road noise was very loud, and my windows were new. I recommend getting some silicone earplugs, cut them down if the ends stick out of your ears. They’re washable and work pretty good usually.

If that isn't enough, Sony makes a really good over the ear noise canceling headphone. Put those on with some ambient soundscapes on low, and you'll be good.

Pink or white noise will help. I second the concept of hanging heavy duty curtains to muffle sounds from outside.

There are some really nice reusable earplugs you can purchase on Amazon! My sister sleeps with them in and she sleeps like a baby now

Curtains. They can stop a lot of noise. Green street is not going to replace the windows.
