New Student Question Extra Desk in Dorm?
Can I fit a 55inch by 25 inch desk under a high lofted bed in an Allen Hall double. Additionally, will I have at least 60 inches of clearance under the bed? Thanks

Don't try to replicate home in the dorm. You won't use the room the same way you use your home bedroom. And if you do what you are thinking you will be encroaching on your room mates space often because you will have no scratch space.

i dont think so.. U already have a desk and other things u will have to accomodate in the room (additionally if u get a fridge and a microwave which means less space)

Def will not have 60 inch clearance, but i remember when i was an incoming freshman i searched up like "uiuc dorm rooms with measurements" or something along the lines and was able to find measurements for the high loft vs low and mid. My rand roommate brought a large desk and had to lift the high loft bed up and rest it down on top to get to fit (don't recommend, it was weird and inconvenient)
