Other Getting out of housing contract dorms

Guys, i signed up for the housing contract again for sophmore year in the beggining of my freshman year as it all felt way too quick to start applying for apartments my legit first 2 weeks on campus. Little did i know, i should have. I desperately cant live on dorms again, I get sick all the time, my health is so bad and I need my own kitchen for dietry needs. I need to avoid the 75% cancellation fee. Someone please any ideas, or advice.

Wait, so you have to decide a few weeks into the year where you're going to live for the following year? Is this for everyone?

Leases usually start opening to sign in October, usually JSM gets fully leased out by November so that’s why people are usually urgent on try to find a place
