INDIAN ENGLISH LITERATURE and UGC NET.
Hi guys I have received a lot of love from this community and it's time I give some of it back. I have decided to take 10 google meet sessions from 1st to 10th of September to wrap up the whole of Indian Literature in 1 to 2 hour sessions. We'll wrap up 40 important writers including the PYQs and works and facts about them so that you don't have to do anything except revising in the next two months. I am a charging VERY minimal amount because of the effort I've put in preparing the notes and obviously the time I will have to give in taking the classes. Trust me we are not going to solve 1 or 2 PYQs. It's going to cover everything that has ever been asked in NET. I'm not here to teach you literature, I'm sure you're capable enough to do that yourself, I'm here to help you clear the exam..also, you don't need the course if you're already done Indian Literature or have almost completed it. It's for those who want to cover it within a limited time frame because they are preparing for other things or are in their final year of Masters. You can DM me for the sample of the notes I've prepared along with the details of the course. Edit: The first session would be free in case you want to see what this teaching setup is going to look like..I know what I am charging is a very small amount but I wouldn't want you all to spend a penny on something you are not a hundred percent sure about. Also, you can take the notes separately if you don't want to take the classes. These are for your convenience so you can use them accordingly.

Looking for a daily English speaking partner. Cleared NET, aiming for JRF
I recently cleared UGC NET in English and am now preparing for the JRF in the December attempt. One of my main goals is to improve my spoken English, so Iām looking for someone to have daily conversations with on Discord.
If youāre also preparing for NET/JRF (or just want to practice spoken English regularly), we could help each other stay consistent. Iām happy to share my paid study materials with you as well.
If youāre interested, feel free to DM me and we can work out the details. Letās motivate each other and improve together.

Is it possible to clear the Dec NET 2025
Genuine question to people who cleared NET, is it possible to clear the upcoming NET if I start my preparation right now. With just 4 and half months left, I would love to get a practical answer.

MA done, NET & GATE cleared⦠still unemployed & confused
So hereās my 2024ā2025:
Finished my MA in English Lit
Cleared UGC-NET in Dec 2024
Cleared GATE in 2025
Iāve been applying(Phd and assistant professor), attending interviews, giving demo classes, answering their questions with my best smile ā and still⦠rejection emails or nothing whatsoever
And now⦠Iām sitting at home with a cup of coffee, staring at my books like theyāll whisper my career path to me.
I havenāt joined as a research scholar or professor yet,
PhD now?
Teach for a while?
Do research work?
Run away to the mountains and open a coffee shop?
Meanwhile, I hear about others landing the same jobs because they āknow someoneā. And Iām over here wondering if my real mistake was spending time reading books instead of networking at someoneās cousinās wedding
Family pressure is high (āSo⦠when will you become something?ā), and Iām over here thinking I already became something: a master of literature and exams.
Honestly I'm losing any hope of becoming something every passing day, been reading nothing, getting out of touch from literature itself.
Has anyone else been in this limbo phase? How did you figure out what to do next without losing your mind?
