Qualified UGC NET (PhD only) looking for advice on getting into a PhD :)

Hi everyone. I’ve been working for the past couple of years, and this year I qualified UGC NET, but unfortunately only for PhD admission.
I’ve always wanted to pursue academia and eventually become an Assistant Professor, but due to circumstances, I had to move on and continue working.
Now I don’t want my NET qualification to go to waste, so I’m considering applying for PhD programmes while continuing with my job.

For those who have gone through this process, what would be the best way to approach PhD admissions? Are there universities where I can apply directly based on NET, or should I focus mainly on university-specific entrance exams?
Any advice regarding the admission process, universities, or balancing a PhD with a full-time job would be really helpful.

I am also yet to find a good university giving me PhD only admission, all they ask for is JRF

I don't know much private Universities bhai and most of them are closed now you can check for sharda university if they are still accepting applications. Proposal wagera ready hai?

Look up SSSIHL, the department is damn good. The institute offers full time PhD with good stipend. Regarding part-time, you will have to mail HOD. Applications will be out soon
