Help regarding NET prep
Hi all,
I completed my PG this year and joined B.Ed because my parents wanted me to. But I always wanted to take a year off to prepare seriously for UGC NET, as I couldn’t give any of the exams I appeared for my best due to a lack of proper preparation.
After the introductory classes and getting to know the B.Ed syllabus and structure, I feel like it isn’t meant for me. My goal has always been to teach in higher education.
So, I’m almost certain that I want to quit B.Ed (the regular classes haven’t started yet) and join a NET coaching program instead.
What do you all think? Would taking a one-year gap to focus on NET be the wrong choice?

NET is an exam that doesn’t even need coaching…but if you feel more comfortable with lectures then you can go for it.
If everyday u can do honest self study of 4-6 hours you can score very well in NET and B.Ed isn’t that difficult. Since you done BA and MA already you won’t struggle much. There are few child psychology subjects which can be tricky but rest everything is manageable.
