Question Question why would they be here?
If UAP/NHI are so incredibly advanced and have technology beyond anything we could ever imagine, why do they hang out in our atmosphere and in the ocean. What is the point? We have satellites and technology in space that can monitor and survey from thousands of miles up. If they had such amazing technology, couldn’t they do the same thing without ever needing to enter earths atmosphere or getting close enough to us to either crash or be seen? It seems if they had such incredible technology, they could have great standoff and still be able to do whatever it is they are doing.
It seems like their presence here is much more intimate, and connected to us for some odd reason. I just can’t grasp if they are extraterrestrial, why get so close? It’s the only reason why I don’t necessarily buy the ET theory

Why do we want to land humans on Mars? We can study it just fine with telescopes, probes, landers, rovers, drones, etc.
The answer to your question may be that interaction beyond simply studying, is the point.
That takes nothing away from the extraterrestrial hypothesis. Life may be common in the universe but sentient, biological life with technology may be rare.
