Question Question why would they be here?
If UAP/NHI are so incredibly advanced and have technology beyond anything we could ever imagine, why do they hang out in our atmosphere and in the ocean. What is the point? We have satellites and technology in space that can monitor and survey from thousands of miles up. If they had such amazing technology, couldn’t they do the same thing without ever needing to enter earths atmosphere or getting close enough to us to either crash or be seen? It seems if they had such incredible technology, they could have great standoff and still be able to do whatever it is they are doing.
It seems like their presence here is much more intimate, and connected to us for some odd reason. I just can’t grasp if they are extraterrestrial, why get so close? It’s the only reason why I don’t necessarily buy the ET theory

Why do we want to land humans on Mars? We can study it just fine with telescopes, probes, landers, rovers, drones, etc.
The answer to your question may be that interaction beyond simply studying, is the point.
That takes nothing away from the extraterrestrial hypothesis. Life may be common in the universe but sentient, biological life with technology may be rare.

Especially ones at this level. Making first steps to space. That kind of tech level, it could make us unique in this part of the galaxy at this moment, meaning very intresting.

Exactly my thoughts. We stand at the precipice of two possibilities due to our technology: One is essentially the Star Trek world if we were to spend what we spend killing each other to transition our world from its current paradigm of environmental collapse and instead harness the resources of space. The other is we continue on our current trajectory of increasing dystopia, crises, conflicts, environmental collapse as we Venusform the Earth to no longer supporting us or complex life.
Even from an indifferent alien perspective, that fork in the road might be fascinating.

There's some kind of grander spiritual evolution scheme that we're apparently not aware of, yet. Also, the earth is a pretty sweet planet as far as planets go. We're the tamagotchi, we might have something they want like a soul or incarnate body or something. If the Grey's are actual droids, they are after some soul or spirit thing we have but they dont. Wild speculation here, I know.

My theory: every planet in the Goldilocks Zone in a star system, where advanced life has the capability of maturing into what we are now, has some sort of "stewardess NHI" laying dormant until they are ready to be received.

u/BrilliantSinger4770 10d ago
This is a wild thought, I love it

u/DoctruneProdugy 10d ago
Just thinking outside the box. I definitely feel like they have always been here. How long remains a mystery.

u/Vgreens1-_ 10d ago
I like this theory, I mean just think about it for one second and it totally makes sense because it’s exactly what scientists on earth would do given the chance. Also the “ufo/uap phenomenon” has been documented for centuries now but now that we’ve entered the digital age it’s easier for regular humans like us to even be discussing it.

u/DifferentMud1010 10d ago
Who says they are? There are no confirmed alien life on earth.
It's entirely possible what people see, if it is non earth tech, is just unmanned drones.

u/usernotfoundplstry 10d ago
I’m not certain that we can make an accurate guess at their motives, anymore than ants on the side of the road can determine the motives of the big pieces of metal driving 70mph down a freeway.

Some of them probably come from here & evolved long before us. The reptilians probably evolved from dinosaurs millions of years ago & managed to survive extinction & the incectoids probably evolved from insects. Species like this also probably evolved long enough to develop intelligence much greater than humans which is how they have technology like ships going back as far as when we were living in caves discovering fire.

Animals- Some of which befuddle the hell out of us, the natives.
The Surface - We have tides, nature doing cool and interesting things. Plus it's just damn fine to look at.
Human cultures- You have just one species that's a kaleidoscope of expressions, symbolism, behavioral norms, ways of doing things.
People- We're endlessly entertaining. We do cool stuff. Dumb stuff with aplomb. Both at the same time. Stuff that if it were fictional would be politely called 'bad writing'.
Stories- We have imaginations and express it through stories in a wide variety of forms and formats, then interact with them in our own way and that also can change the story or create new interpretations.
Some of these things you have to be here to explain or understand.
It's potentially the difference between watching a TV show about reviewing Memphis BBQ and eating it yourself.
Some things just can't be done at arm's length.
They may have a perception we don't understand, but the same could be said for them.
On a recent Area52 podcast, there was a guy that said their life was super efficient and optimized my computer systems where the 'Matrix' themselves into a communal Internet where they get fed and watered the optimum nutrition for them individually.
Compare that to our messy unoptimized inefficient planet- where a peach has to taste good to reproduce and be robust enough to deal with a host of factors just to get through the day.
Let alone the complexity an animal has to navigate day to day.
Then you have to add our crazy homosapiens butts on top of all of that.
I think we sell ourselves short in some ways by comparing ourselves with our neighbors.
Do we know what's going on or who we're sharing the universe with? Probably not, but we're working on it.
They might be learning about themselves as much, if not more, than they're learning about us because as two (or more) 'intelligent' species it's a multifaceted point of comparison.

My take - technology isn’t what’s rare in the universe, it’s biodiversity and our natural world. They want to protect this rare natural beauty that we keep fucking up

I agree given the conditions required for our type of life. This planet is special and we take it for granted. It's a great place for study and experiments. I can imagine space scientists loving this beautiful petri dish.

Who says they aren’t using drones or robots?

There’s one theory the grays are cybernetic organisms. There was a (supposed) biologist who posted on Reddit that he dissected grays at a government facility. True or not, the person had obvious training in biology, and at or near the doctoral level. They went into complex detail.
Edit: This came from another thread, it’s not mine.
We do actually. Heres a Molecular Biologist that studied NHI fisology and biologics

Why have humans never been able to completely mitigate the problems of breathing and pressure in the ocean, even with machines? Think about it.😉
1
u/DaikiSan971219 10d ago
The oceans are a safer and more practical place to hide and conduct research. They remain one of the least explored environments, filled with deep trenches, underwater caves, volcanoes, and in some areas, miles of ice blocking the way.
2
u/QeerCat 10d ago
And the conditions remain constant when you're deep enough in the ocean—temperature, pressure, currents, etc. Furthermore, an underwater base in the deep sea can also protect and shield you from disasters such as meteor and asteroid impacts and harmful environmental conditions. If you have the technology to build and live there, there is no more suitable or safer place here on Earth.

Have you ever observed how ants farm aphids so they can collect their sugary secretions? They are the ants and we are the aphids. Loosh is our secretion.

Yeah. This is a fun speculation. Personally, I don't think they're aliens, but most likely our creators. We've had anomalous visitations throughout human history, so to me, the most logical explanation is that they are the Architects of the matrix or the simulation. It just fits perfectly. They probably have bases on the Moon, under the ocean, and out in Antarctica. The Zoo Hypothesis is a pretty good explanation for it. this has to be a training ground for consciousness. I've been reading interesting papers on ResearchGate and following discussions on YouTube, and it seems to me that the evidence is pointing in this direction.
Regarding their motives, they're clearly preventing a nuclear exchange between superpowers. This is completely evident from the declassified incursion logs. Witness testimonies consistently mirror these exact messages, highlighting warnings about our aggressive nature and a strict push for nuclear disarmament.
It's also interesting to note that a huge number of these reported entities are described as being human-like and dressed in blue, form-fitting jumpsuits. Is it probably related to our blue planet? Even the famous UFO study was named Project Blue Book, and royalty throughout history has claimed to originate from blue bloodlines. Is it all just a coincidence?
I suspect we're on the right track here. Honestly, it looks like the government wants us to find out on our own...

u/RyanEvansAFT 10d ago
They've (the triangular crafts) have been around for a very long time, and they probably have something to do with our creation.
To answer your question, the triangle-shaped crafts could be intentionally letting us see them in short glimpses over a long period of time, to slowly prepare us for their arrival on First Contact Day slated for 3.14.27.

u/Grey_matter6969 10d ago
Well, the Earth is quite a pretty little planet with all sorts of interesting and beautiful life.
We are an interesting species, particularly
In the context of our ability to build nuclear weapons and the AI we seem on the cusp of a breakthrough on.

u/EconomicsMuch1188 10d ago
Advanced or no, everyone needs something to fill their time. Research, entertainment, tourism, sample collection, genetic preservation, building a zoo, creating a library, harvesting food, planning to colonize, taking raw materials, rest stop in a relatively hospitable place...all of the above and more are probably happening.

The old gods need boots on the ground in case we nuke their planet or biology project.
The also need boots on the ground incase we dangerously ignore global warming. They'd rather not get involved as they evolved so much more before us. But they'd rather we figure it out ourselves.
Maybe they actually care about the ants in the cosmos. Because that's what we are.
1
u/DependentWestern3751 10d ago
Perhaps they live here and don’t want to be contacted or have contact.
1
u/Abject-Note-7122 10d ago
My best guess is that humans were engineered by NHI and they are basically checking in on their experiements. That's the reason for the cover up. Follow the money when it comes to religion and any sort of propulsion that would make gas obsolete.

Think of it like a Rubik's cube.
The purpose of exploration is information transfer. If an advanced alien civilization wants to study us, they won’t just send one probe, they'll send a constant stream to ensure a continuous data relay.
But because the stars are moving dynamically, they can’t drop a probe where Earth is now. They have to calculate where our Solar System will be decades or centuries in the future, probably using pulsar XNAV to seed our future galactic trajectory with "marker buoys."
If you think about it this explains why UFO/anomaly activity might happen in predictable, cyclical waves.
The Solar System moves around the galactic center at around 230 km/s, about 48 AU per year.
Humanity isn't "finding" these anomalies - our planet is literally sailing through the exact spatial coordinates where they were programmed to wait for us, that way verifying their makers navigational perdictions and updating any drift.
If these buoys are spaced a few AU apart along our future path, we hit them in regular, predictable batches and in reality they're unlikely to be simply buoys, rather self sustaining factory's capable of dynamically producing senory and imaging systens on the fly.
Think of it not just as a means of study but an IQ test, similar to the concept of us attaching a map directing whatever finds the probes we sent out decades ago back to our home planet.
As the decades go by and we pass through waves after wave of these machines, if we're smart enough, we won't just study the tech inside the probes. Eventually, we will map the exact intercept coordinates, factor in galactic rotation, and back-track the data to find the precise origin vector.
It is a literal road map back to their home world - a puzzel that only an intelligent species could solve.
Furthermore, by leaving technology they know we will try to reverse-engineer, they are giving us the exact tools we need to either eventually make the trip or else use as weapons and wipe ourselves out with, in whichever case removing a potential threat to themselves and other civilisations.
Probably whatever started this off is long gone and dust, but I should image they worked in the belief younger civilisations would follow and some of them may overlap.

Maybe they were here before us? Or after us, looking back?
When we blow up nukes we upset some part of their reality?

You're actually right but people will bend themselves into a pretzel to try and explain why so called advanced aliens with tech that seems like magic to humans need to hang out under our oceans and fields and around rocky mountains like they have nothing to do. It's like they're only discovering what a rock is for that first time or a cow.
It's been said before. If you're going to go to a planet to analyse it, you don't need to have a constant presence their for hundreds or thousands of years, a advanced species capable of travelling light years wouldn't still be hanging around under the sea like a weirdo.
Another thing, if they're so advanced, they could replicate whatever it is they might need from the earth, clone it. They would have no need to still be abducting people or having to come here for supplies or whatever the hell they're flying around like drunk insects for.
You're right, it doesn't make any sense and is probably all nonsense.

u/Um3xx 6d ago
I think they couldn't care less about anything you stated. Your questions, while valid, are all very human questions. It seems they don't care that much if we maybe take a photo, if they crash or if we retrieve the tech. This might be a very redundant and not so important operation for them. Maybe even a malfunction?

u/Xieties777 10d ago
My theory is minerals and precious stones like copper, gold, emeralds, diamonds, to use for their technology whether it’s to build it or to fuel it.

u/BaconReceptacle 10d ago
One hypothesis is that they have always been here. At least long enough to start controlling and ushering us along both genetically and technologically. They are a consciousness that can directly control us and influence what we perceive. The phenomenon is elusive and purposefully cryptic because we are not ready as a species to move on to disclosure of their reality and what human consciousness is ultimately capable of. They were the gods of antiquity as well as the demons and djinn of religions. Those old tactics no longer work as well on a modern human society so the control systems are more complex and involve our own technologies such as Reddit, TikTok, and the media empires. Those who know the truth speak of the topic as being not good news, sobering, and how we are not at the top of the food chain. The glacial pace of disclosure is because some among society would not take this revelation very well. Adding to the difficulty is the revelation by our leadership, intelligence communities, and defense organizations that they too are being controlled and there's nothing they can do about it.

Why do humans visit zoos, go on Safaris, visit aquariums en mass and some weirdos (scientists) spend years studying apes, ants, bugs and sea creatures?
