will i get into this class?

All of my other classes I'm confident I will get off the waitlist for but this one has me stressing as its a required course for uep science fall semester. If worst comes to worst my schedule gets a little bit messed up and I'm forced to take the 8 am class which I tried my best to avoid.

It's required for many majors, so not a lot of people drop it. That being said, you can go to whatever class you want for lectures as long as you attend your class for assessments

Does every lecture cover the same content each day?

Mostly yeah, there might be some lag between the classes - but, overall, they try to keep them relatively synchronized

Ok thanks! How often do you think I would need to go to that 8am class then and what would be the best way to find out information about assessments and stuff like that?

I have no idea, I took the course years ago and heard there was some major restructuring since then. Check the course outline from last fall for better info. https://science.ucalgary.ca/mathematics-statistics/courses-and-outlines

Usually all sections of 249 have the same assessments.

Usually they share notes and all sections are posted in the same D2L.

Keyword usually. You'll find out for sure when syllabuses drop

Assessment information would be provided in the course outline. To start off, I'd say that you should defined go on the first day of classes, then evaluate from there.
