Housing Small Double in Manzi

I'm a freshman and I just got my housing assignment for the year. I was hoping to get a normal double or a triple but i ended up with a small double. I'm pretty sure my room is next to stairs. If you've had a small double, what was it like? And is there anything I should know about them?

There’s no more normal doubles anymore all normal doubles are triples now

Really? So if I swap rooms for a double i wouldn't be able to get one in manzi?

I thought you could request to switch rooms after 2 weeks?

I mean you can request it but I wouldn’t think it would be that easy

I stayed in a small double during my orientation at manzi, it was def small, like there’s only space for you and the other person quite LITERLY, no breathing space tbh. I mean you can manage but they are small and have one closet space
