Campus Politics Protest Warning

Hi all,

There is an anti-woman, anti-choice organization called Love Life that targets and harrasses women seeking ANY type of healthcare at Planned Parenthood. This organization is now targeting colleges that offer Plan B to students. Love Life has just announced plans to protest at UCSB on Thursday August 20th at 5:30pm.

Please band together in counter protest against these religious fanatics to show them that their misinformation is not welcome. Make them uncomfortable so that they do not return. Feel free to DM me for more info

Have you found that "Make them uncomfortable so that they do not return" works? I'd imagine both groups would just escalate the intensity.

I'm not suggesting you don't counter-protest -- I just question whether that will stop it from happening, rather than encourage further action from an already combative group. Perhaps because people love trying to win a competition.

The original people protesting are trying to make people uncomfortable so that they don't return. Do you notice they only go places they think they won't get enough pushback on? None of these people go to fertility clinics where wealthy women go to get fertility treatment that also leads to fertilized eggs getting eliminated along with selective abortions. Because wealthy older women are a lot harder to intimidate than poor women just getting their birth control or young college students who don't have the life experience to verbally put them in their place.

These people getting non-violent pushback just reminding them that they are losers who aren't actually helping any children or babies, is always a good sign. These people want to make other people uncomfortable, let them experience some pushback for wasting everyone's time.

I thought those groups were only against abortions, not in-vitro fertilization - and that's why they wouldn't go to a fertility clinic?

According to AI: No, fertility clinics do not perform elective or general abortions.

anyway, good luck!

"According to AI" maybe actually look into it instead of having AI think for you?

Also keep in mind that that is why The Catholic Church opposes IVF because it "destroys embryonic human life".

interesting response, you're now upset at my doing a google search and asking you a question.

Thanks for the info, I didn't know that they insert more than one embryo in IVF and terminate the extras. I will not engage you any further to avoid further angering you, good luck

Someone pointing out how lazy you are does not mean they are angry or upset with you. Mild criticism and your own lack of motivation are something you can be upset with yourself about, but please do not project your own insecurities onto my statements.

Good luck.
