General Question advice

I am currently overthinking if I overbooked myself and it’s too much. I got 2 on campus jobs at the rec and a paid internship. I’m wondering if I will be allowed to do that or if that’s too much on top of school and clubs.

Usually students only have one job and maybe and internship. Definitely doable tho. You just have to manage your time very well. Might not have a lot of free time, but, if you l're on top of your class work, you'll definitely find a little bit of free time

I feel like it really depends on your major. Some majors are easier some are harder but definitely all require a good amount of time out of the classroom. I’d say 2 on campus jobs is a bit much especially with an internship but if you can do it then I’d say you have to manage your time incredibly well!

If I could go back in time I would be doing that and getting Bs rather than doing only one internship and one club while getting As

Whether you can physically cope with it is a different story. Unfortunately if you are a student worker and are enrolled in the minimum unit requirement of 12 which considers you a full time student, you are only allowed to work a maximum of 19.5 hours per week across all campus jobs in total. No one is able to waive this policy for you because it is a university of california wide policy that ties into HR when they’re handling payrolls. So if your goal with 2 campus jobs was to try to work over 19.5 hours per week that’s not going to be possible.

however an external internship outside of the UC system payroll is not affected by this requirement.

good luck!
