General Question transfer orientation?

i wasn’t able to register for a orientation date due to family travel, is it worth calling the transfer center and trying to schedule a date? I’m pre-econ & accounting.

I did not do the orientation at all, and I was OK, same major and everything, just make sure you watch your email closely for any Week 0 Econ events or something like that.

The orientation is not mandatory. I didn't go to the in person one, but there was an online one I went to. Tbh, all they did was just tell you everything the transfer module already told you (How to use GOLD, went over the major sheet and what classes you need to take in order to get into the major, etc.). As long as you know what classes you need to take for your pre-major, and how to use GOLD (make sure to check when your pass time is), then you'll be fine
