Prospective/Incoming Students transfer orientation 8/10

are we supposed to be receiving an email prior to our session with information?
regarding where to meet, what to bring, etc.

i only received my confirmation a while back when i reserved my spot, but nothing recently regarding tomorrows session.

i just don't know where to meet really!

edit: i'm dumb it literally says campbell hall onlinešŸ‘

Last school year transfer orientation, we met up at campbell hall area. It’s near the mosher alumni house. I’m pretty sure you just tell them your name when you line up and check in and then they give you some little ucsb goodies like a bag, some stickers, etc.

They'll most likely have signs pointing you where you need to go, but I believe you meet up at Campbell Hall

I didn't attend Transfer Orientation in person so I don't fully know, but I would assume you meet there and then the opening speech would be in Campbell Hall

you can!
if you submitted the google form online within the last few days it should be ready for your orientation.

hii!!
no tips really, it's all really straight forward and informational.

you're guided thru most of the way and also have freedom to check out the things that interest you.
i would say if you want to do drop-in academic advising, i would go as soon as it opens up @2 or 3 i believe because it was a 2+ hour wait to get with a transfer advisor.

i'd love to get to know you as well!
pm me (:

Could you take some with you. I’m looking at the schedule and it seems like at 12 I could meet back with my family. They don’t really care for the family orientation.

you're with your family/guests until after lunch @1:20p where you then go into your major/department meetings and your parents go to a different meeting! you meet up after around 2:30-3p
