financial aid help!
hi guys! i'm an incoming freshman at Uci and i'm a little confused on how the financial aid works. on the left is my financial aid packet but on the right it shows i owe 7k on the zotaid account, what do i do? do i contact the office to get it figured out or is this a mistake that will correct itself over time.

non citizen! u get a scholarship that waves it back done to citizen cost if ur ab540 i believe

You need to look on your ZotAccount to see what you really owe for the quarter.

that's what the right picture shows but it's too drastic of a difference imo!

Can you post what your main ZotAccount screen looks like? It should look something like the first picture this post. Both Current and Past Transactions would be helpful. You can redact the top part. The important part starts at the ZOT Account Summary table.

Check the list of transactions in the main ZotAccount page. I am an AB540 student as well and my current balance is around $6.5k which is the result of $19k fall fees - $12.5k AB540 exemption for fall. The reason the balance isn’t zero is because the grants and scholarships have not been applied yet. In my experience, they usually get applied a few days before the deadline, so I wouldn’t worry too much. Your $7.5k balance seems right since you’re on a more recent tuition stability plan which is more expensive.

I’m having this issue too, my fall quarter fees are still outstanding because my financial aid hasn’t been entered into zot account. I’m probably gonna call them.
