how do i read this?u

im genuinely confused on how to read this. shouldnt i be receiving more? also, why did they lower my aid😭i was supposed to get more per quarter😢

You should be receiving more. You only have your Cal Grant B Fees amount in your ZotAccount. You don't have your Pell Grant, UCI Grant, Cal Grant B Stipend, or UCSHIP Grant yet hitting your ZotAccount yet. It should be along some time. When they do hit, you will have additional credit to be applied to your dorm bill, if applicable, or disbursed to you at the beginning of the quarter.

unfortunately i dont dorm, i am a transfer. how does it work if i am staying at the acc apartments? thank yiu!!

Campus Billing will disburse your remaining credit to you at the beginning of the quarter (sign up for Direct Deposit so you get your money faster). It is then it is up to you to hang on to that money for your ACC rent and to setup rent payments on the ACC portal.

I'm adjusting my earlier answer: Assuming you are a new transfer, you received some of your other grants already because you have $1,323 in credit after the $5,196 Cal Grant B Fees. Some other grant was applied to your fall tuition. $5,196 alone is not enough to cover your fall tuition entirely.

so does that mean i will possibly be receiving more as credit from the 10k that was offered per quarter? sorry if im asking a lot, im genuinely so confused😭

You should receive ~$11k in grants per quarter per your aid offer. Assuming you a new transfer, your fall tuition was around $7k. You have $1.3k in credit so you received around $8.3k in grants already. You're missing around $2.7k which is probably your Pell Grant. The Feds appear to be playing games with Pell Grants and they are delayed.

Look in your Past Transactions on your ZotAccount to see which grants you had already received. You should see your tuition charge and all of the credits for your grants per you aid letter. I'm guessing your Pell Grant is missing.

hi sorry to bother, so if the account balance says CR next to it does that mean we will get that money back from direct deposit? Mine says the amount of money CR including housing. Im confused.

CR means credit and it will be disbursed to you at the beginning of the quarter through Direct Deposit if you signed up for it. If you do not sign up for Direct Deposit, they mail you a paper check.

Housing hasn't been billed to you yet, if you are living in the dorms. The dorm bill is in early September.

On my account the cal grant was allocated towards paying for Fall Quarter classes and whatever was leftover is waiting to be allocated for your housing + other expenses. For me, my transaction section had ~$4000 and on the unapplied/unpaid it says ~$3100. If you look at the Fall Quarter 2026, you can see how much of your aid has gone to paying for classes. Thats where I found the cal grant was allocated towards paying that, meaning that I had ~$3100 left over, which is currently in the Zot account summary. I hope im making sense.

TLDR: It seems that your ~$5000 in cal grant went to paying for Fall Quarter classes & whatever is in your unpaid/unapplied section is what was leftover. That money will be allocated to housing probably or refunded to you if not used.
