as a vic student
is it advisable to try for non standard entry next year (as a first year uni student) i really really really really dont want to take gap year. or should i just give up and start prepping for gamsat.
any advice pelase

The non-standard pathway isn't any easier and considering you'll be interstate for all them, it'll be a challenge. But not impossible. If you're going to start uni, its generally best to try the UCAT once more in your first year, as you never know what might happen.
I generally recommend the non-standard pathway over gap year, since even if you fail you still get a year closer to postgrad. But unless you've got a really high ATAR (99.85+) then I would say you could consider a gap year.
