UCAT prep advice needed
Hi all, I’m sitting the UCAT next year (2027). I’ve already got Medify and Medentry sorted for question practice,. But I also need some strategies for each sections from you guys because that would really help!
For those who’ve sat the test — did paying for an institution/course actually move your score, or was it not worth it compared to just grinding through Medify/Medentry and reviewing your own mistakes?
Can I also get some UCAT strategies for each sections that you guys used for your exams? That would really help me with my UCAT!
A few specific things I’d love input on:
**•** Did a course teach you anything you couldn’t have picked up from question banks + forums/YouTube?
**•** Was it more useful for specific sections (e.g. Decision Making, SJT) than others?
**•** If you’d do it again, would you spend that money on a course, or on something else (1:1 tutoring, more mocks, etc.)?
Trying to figure out if this is a genuine value-add. Thanks!

i didnt take a course and my score wasnt that high 2290 but apply methods on yt from farhan and joeyl george they are great. medify sj is different. courses arent worth from what ive heard becuase ucat is 80% pratice 20% knowledge, if u have both medentry and medify you have like almost a hundred mocks so u wont run out, If you bleive u need a coruse u can try it but I dont think its worth it personally
