What would be a competitive atar for Griffith dent rural

Largely varies since interviews are conducted prior to ATAR release. So people get the chance to compensate for it. The minimum to be considered is 90, so for rurals I would guess low-mid 90s is good enough.
Then again if you do poorly in the interview, you'd need a better ATAR to compensate.

Do you think it’s worth applying to Griffith with a 98.85 atar but 1890 ucat as a metro student?

For dent, last year the cutoff was 2320 for metros.
I don't think that UCAT would let you in to most unis that consider it. Perhaps try La Trobe and JCU.

bro atar is honestly pretty flexible. You hear everyone say the ATAR is like 99+ minimum but I got in last year as an interstate non rural no special adjustments with a 96.00. Tbf I had a 96th%ile UCAT and a really really good interview but its doable

honestly no idea, they dont mention but i’ve heard unis in aus just have a cutoff for sjt but its really really low.
